Assassination of Mahatma Gandhi: Neglected Chronologies

Mahatma Gandhiji’s assassination and related incidents are victims of the aforementioned sort of hijack and distortion. No questions and logical answers were heard in connection with such a serious and heinous crime. Those who dared to raise questions were pushed behind forever. Several fabricated stories were spread, most of them more colorful than the crime thrillers and even real facts. They were painted as history and thrust upon our generations.
These sorts of post independence embodiment of tailor- made lies are the most venomous betrayals Indian history has ever suffered. But, India gives a unique guarantee to the whole world: ‘the spiritual power of this ancient nation will never die; it will live for ever and give divine light to the world.’ That is why the country keeps on facing all challenges and spreading the celestial sun rays simultaneously.
This book is an investigation, not a conclusion. It raises some questions, which have so far been not raised, concerning the most significant political assassination the twentieth century did come across. Sharp questions may upset some. Some others may turn mad and shout when the skeletons jump out of the cupboards which they thought were safe for ever. We are likely to be shocked when we see some faces behind the torn masks.
This could be the reiteration of the universal truth that no fact could be hidden for long. This is not a claim that this work is history hence sacred. But, something to be underlined: Questions are not to remain as questions …. Their answers are not to wander here and there as orphans either. There should be a rendezvous for both somewhere. Questions are here. It is up to each and everyone of us to trace the answers.
